Wedding Advice - Honeymoons

A honeymoon is the traditional holiday taken by newlyweds (or between two people in an early harmonious period in a relationship) to celebrate their marriage in intimacy and seclusion. Today, honeymoons by Westerners are sometimes celebrated somewhere exotic or otherwise considered special and romantic.

Honeymoons can range from a romantic weekend away in this country to weeks on a Caribbean island and everything in between. As with all wedding arrangements the cost is what determines what you have and in this case where you go. Many brides leave the groom to organise the honeymoon but it is always a good idea to talk about places of interest that you can both agree on first.

Romance, seclusion and quality time together is ultimately what you are both after so remember that when you see of the prices that are above budget, don't get into debt for the sake of a holiday.

As with any holidays you could look at All Inclusives, so at least you know how much you are spending before you go and are not going to go over budget whilst out there. There are many online sites such as www.expedia.co.uk and www.lastminute.com that give discounts on holidays whether you are booking in advance or nearer to the time.

From beaches to activity holidays (skiiing) to culture and sightseeing to safari, to simply a romantic hotel the list is endless.
